THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE LAMINATE JUST GOT BETTER

The Laminex Group is today delighted to announce the launch of the new Formica®, a major initiative that delivers a compelling collection of popular laminate surface solutions.

“For almost 100 years, Formica has played a major role in domestic kitchens across the globe and is recognised for its modern look and proven performance.” said David Edwards from The Laminex Group.

“Meanwhile, in Australia our Formex brand of laminates has targeted specific trade requirements – facilitating a comprehensive range of design possibilities for commercial applications.

“The new Formica merges these two successful brands under one powerful name that represents the world’s most popular laminate.”

David said the move is not only a merger, but a total transformation that features an expanded range of 229 Formica High-Pressure Laminates, of which 28 are all-new colours and textures.

With designs that give the illusion of depth and dimension, such as the pale, glass-like Translucent Green, the new Formica® range is sophisticated and refined, focusing on texture, new stone structures and clever, original pattern.

In addition to the high-pressure laminates, which are ideal for work surfaces and benchtops, 119 colours are also available in the low-pressure laminate. These are ideal for cupboard doors, shelving, furniture and vertical panelling.

“For many, Formica means laminate, and the reinvented Formica® is a strengthened, more extensive offering of high quality, value for money, contemporary laminate surfaces,” David said.

An innovative marketing campaign has been created to bring to life the new Formica range. Rendering of Formica sample chips create a visual portrayal of the colour collection, this clever creative execution will without doubt make a lasting impression.
